ANDREW PINARD
Andrew J. Pinard had been performing since he was a child. He has traveled extensively as an actor, director and scenic and lighting designer and has appeared on the stage as well as radio and television. An award-wining educator, he taught theater for five years at Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, NH.
A veteran of the hospitality industry, Andrew has performed his special brand of magic and comedy at a number of resorts and restaurants throughout the Northeast. Resorts include: The Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, The Balsams in Dixville Notch, NH and the Wentworth by the Sea in Newcastle, NH. Restaurants include: R.A. Gatto’s in Peterborough, NH; The Colonel Shepard House in Milford, NH; Tucker’s Tavern in Warner, NH; The River View in Contoocook, NH; The Waterfront in Newbury, NH, and for eleven years twice weekly at Newick’s Seafood in Merrimack, NH.
His Alejandro’s Olde Tyme Magik Showe has been seen throughout the Northeast since 1991, including performances from such clients as: the Caledonia County Fair, the Sandwich Fair, the Warner Fall Foliage Festival, and for eight years for the First Night New Hampshire. A favorite with audiences, Up Close & Magical is a formal close-up show which strives to expand audience’s experience of magic. In 2007, his show, Andrew Pinard LIES! (Honestly…), enjoyed a two month run at The Beach Club in Old Orchard Beach, ME. His adult sleight-of-hand performance Discovering Magic has been continuously run since 2013 and may be seen monthly at Hatbox Theatre and seasonally at The Players’ Ring in Portsmouth, NH.
Andrew has been featured several times as Editor’s Choice for Best Magical Entertainer “The Very Best of New Hampshire” issue of New Hampshire Magazine (2000, 2002, 2013, 2015).
